Michigan’s State Court Administrative Office runs a continuing education program called the Michigan Judicial Institute (MJI). The Institute’s goal is to provide seminars to employees in Michigan’s judicial branch, but it also offers nine online training modules that can be accessed by the public via its website. MJI currently provides training in the following topics online:

— Making Ethical Decisions

Over his 22 years in the Michigan courts, Judge Halloran has taught for several legal training organizations, including the Michigan Judicial Institute, the Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan. He focuses on legal issues related to domestic violence and has earned multiple awards for his work in the area.
